Our Trainers

Gabriel Tan

Mr. Gabriel Tan is Founder of Bamboo Builders, a social enterprise that nurtures youth to change their community through social entrepreneurship.

 

He has worked with close to 10,000 youths to start hundreds of projects, impacting thousands across Singapore and ASEAN. He has also consulted and written social entrepreneurial curriculum for governments, international foundations and schools. 

 

In Singapore, Gabriel's innovative approach to alleviating systemic problems had him recognised as Impact Entrepreneur of the Year, Top 35 Entrepreneurs under 35, and Top 40 Under 40. He has also been featured on numerous media platforms like CNA 93.8, The Peak and The Prestige Magazine. 

 

Gabriel is a certified Trainer with Apple Inc and the Ministry of Education, Singapore. He regularly engages with multiple levels of society, including youths and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Gabriel actively mentors and inspires the next generation of social entrepreneurial leaders to Build Change Better.

Ms Chloe Lee

Chloe Lee

Ms Chloe Lee is the Head of Thye Hua Kwan Home for Disabled @ Sembawang. 

 

Having worked more than 15 years in the social service sector, she has garnered extensive field experience in social work and international volunteerism through organisations like Society for Physically Disabled (SPD), Singapore International Foundation, and Bishan Home.

 

She was also previously the Assistant Manager for Service Learning and Career Specialist for Social Work at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where she prepared social work students for career readiness.


In 2022, Chloe was awarded the Community Cares Award from the Ministry of Social & Family Development (MSF). A relationship-builder, Chloe believes in forging multi-stakeholder collaborations for sustained impact.

Frances Yong

Ms Frances Yong is the founder of White Byte, a community-focused enterprise to promote digital inclusion and cyber integrity.

Previously the Global Lead for Group Cyber Security at Standard Chartered Bank, she developed knowledge frameworks for fraud and cybercrime prevention specialists worldwide after her tenure at American Express.

Frances is recognised by the ASEAN Foundation as a Master Trainer in Digital Literacy. She speaks at professional industry forums and grassroot communities; and partners with government agencies to improve cybercrime safeguards and awareness.

When not speaking 'Cyber', Frances is a proponent of female empowerment. She launched Lean In Girls, a support community platform for girls 11 to 16; and mentors female workforce in leadership goals.

Mr Jack Lim

Jack Lim

Mr Jack Lim has close to 30 years of working experience in the Logistics, Tourism, F&B, and Retail industries in the region (mainly in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Laos) and Singapore.

 

His areas of expertise are in Management, Sales and marketing, Consultancy and training, Hospitality and Tourism, Customer Services, Communications and negotiations, and Presentation and Public Speaking.

 

He is an MOE registered and a certified ACLP trainer and can facilitate training programs fluently in English and Chinese. He is also fluent in dialects such as Cantonese and Hokkien and can hold simple conversations in basic Malay.


He advocates for lifelong learning and is passionate about sharing his experiences and knowledge. He finds great satisfaction in helping others develop their potential and achieve their goals.
